Information we may collect
Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, display preferences, saved titles, and support requests. Reading data: chapter progress, bookmarks, library actions, recommendation signals, and premium entitlement status. Technical data: device type, browser, approximate region, logs, error reports, fraud-prevention signals, and basic analytics about how public pages perform.
How we use information
We use reader information to provide sign-in, keep reading progress in sync, unlock premium chapters, improve recommendations, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, answer support requests, and understand which discovery surfaces help readers find the right story. We do not design Fictavia around selling reader profiles. The product is built around reading access, not ad targeting.
Payments and membership
When paid checkout is active, payment details may be processed by a merchant of record or payment provider. Fictavia should receive membership and entitlement status, not full card numbers. Pricing, renewal cadence, taxes, and cancellation terms are shown before checkout.
Cookies and analytics
Fictavia may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep readers signed in, remember preferences, protect sessions, measure page performance, and understand aggregate reading behavior. Where required, optional analytics or marketing cookies should be controlled through a consent experience.
Sharing and service providers
We may share limited information with infrastructure, database, authentication, payment, analytics, email, and support providers that help operate the service. These providers should process data only for service operation, security, compliance, or support. We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, protect the platform, investigate abuse, or enforce terms.
Your choices
Readers may request access, correction, export, or deletion of account information by contacting support@fictavia.com or help@fictavia.com from the account email address. Some records may be retained when needed for security, billing, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
Children and sensitive data
Fictavia is intended for general audiences who can lawfully use online services in their region. The service is not designed to collect sensitive personal information, government identifiers, financial account details beyond payment processing, or information from children under applicable age thresholds.
International readers
Fictavia is an English-language service that may be accessed globally. Data may be processed in countries where our infrastructure or service providers operate. Readers may have privacy rights under local laws, including rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain processing.
